Disc Store Performance Gloves

I bought these gloves so I could grip the frisbee better and they helped. The took a while to come but I am happy with them.

I own a pair of Hucknation, Mint (they broke), Layout(usa sub), Friction 2.0 and two pair of disc store (1 large one med). While each glove offers different benefits. I feel that the disc store combines all quality features the best. It has enough padding that when you are tossing with captain america you can feel you hands afterward. It has a tacky grip but not one that slows rotation as it leaves your hand. This make them great for catching the under and dishing that sweet power position huck. The tacky part of the glove has started to peel I play 3 days a week on average and they have lasted me a little over a year. They are the all around best glove and by far the most bang for your buck. I don't know that they will make you catch better but you sure will feel like you do.

I’ve tried a number of Ultimate gloves, including some wide-receiver football gloves, and these are the best thus far. Great fit and great grip.
\nNOTE: these gloves are a lot shorter than most other gloves along the wrist. It makes for a tighter fit and easier movement.

There is no doubt these gloves are of lower quality when compared to the original Friction Gloves. I have owned two pairs of the Disc Store Performance Gloves and each set lasted all of a few months. They served their purpose of assisting in catching and throwing, but CAN NOT withstand the harsh environment of Ultimate. The friction material on the palm and fingers looks like it is a coating glued onto the the glove fabric. Within 2-3 weeks of wearing during practice, the material began to flake off like faux leather. With in 1-2 months, the fingers had lost 70-80% of the friction material making the gloves useless. Underneath the friction coating is the same slick fabric on the back of the glove. This in turn makes catching and throwing more difficult. They do provide some protection to you hands, but at the risk of compromising your throwing and catching ability once the integrity of the gloves is lost. I do not advise anyone to buy these gloves if they are looking to improve their catching and throwing abilities.
