Heckler Ultimate Duffel Bag

I'm now on my 3rd Heckler Bag, and I really want to love them, but they've got some issues.

\nThere are 3 main flaws for an otherwise excellent bag:

\n1) There are no short catch handles... While there are already an excessive number of straps attached to the bag, being able to grab handles for a quick field move is missing.
\n
\n2) The attachment points fail really fast. On my first modern bag, the attachment point for the backpack straps failed fast enough that they sent me a replacement (GREAT response & service. Thanks!). The second bag had the same loop fail on me just last weekend. These attachment points really need to be reinforced so they are not a point of catastrophic failure.

\n3) The wallet access zipper on the outside zips up rather than down. This means that gravity will, over time, open your wallet pocket... I haven't lost my wallet yet, but this is something that should be corrected in the next iteration.

\nThe sizing and layout of this bag is really great. I love the internal wallet pouch. I really like the mesh end-cap. I have no need for the disc straps, but I suppose they're cool. I like the shoulder straps a lot.

\nHistory: The first bag I got was one of the originals made from reused billboard material. It was awesome and lasted years, but eventually the zipper-material connection fell apart.

Just bought this a got it in the mail today. First thoughts, material feels good/nice, and looks good. Even though its not a rigid material for easy use, once I put a disc in the font holder it works just the same. I like the side pocket with open are mesh for my dirty cleats and socks. I like the small secure zipper pocket on the inside that I know I will use for my phone and wallet. Also the size seems small at a glance but as I moved my stuff into the bag, I was thinking, I want to use more space, what else can I put in here to take up space. I still have most of the main compartment empty! I know I am going to like this more than the small backpack I have been using up until this point. Would recommend waiting until they are on sale though, unless you want to pay the full price.
